Site Manager – West Yorkshire

£35,000 to £40,000
Our client is a well established housebuilding and construction company with a large landbank, which they are now starting to utilise to build out houses for the rental market. Reporting to the Operations Director, in this new role, duties will include:
Managing the site and ensure that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required standards
Organising and managing the site activities on a day to day basis
Responsible for driving the site progress and delivery of a successful project
Ensuring build programs and schedules are met and any issues are dealt with quickly and effectively
Management of construction programme
Minimising programme delays
Overseeing site logistics
Liaison with all associated parties
Run and manage progress meetings
Oversee Health & Safety and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Act as first point of contact for all third parties including the general public and sub-contractors
To be successful, you will need to possess proven experience as a Site Manager with a reputable housing developer, a solid general construction background, a hands on operational style, good communication skills and stable career history to date. You will also be a good team player with a strong work ethic and the desire to add value to each and every project.
