Recruitment Manager – Oldham
Our client is a leading provider of technological equipment designed to provide an intelligent solution to customers across diverse industries such as banking, fmcg, entertainment, and print/packaging. The company has numerous overseas sales offices including Europe, South America and China and employs over 300 people worldwide. They are on a high growth curve and are now looking for a Recruitment Manager to handle all their internal recruitment and to provide HR support to line Managers across the business.
The role will involve:
* Working closely with the Directors on people development and HR strategy
* Coordinating recruitment processes in the UK and overseas, working with local Management to fulfil their respective requirements
*Delivery of successful recruitment campaigns – the company are likely to need to recruit another 150 people in the next 2 years
* Travelling to overseas locations to advise on and assist in recruitment campaigns (typically involving staying away for short periods of time)
*Provision of back up HR support and ongoing training of managers in all HR aspects to deal with front line issues
* Liaising with local colleges and schools to foster greater links and encourage greater take up of apprenticeships
*Continuing to develop strong links with Universities to offer gap year employment for undergraduates with a view to developing a pipeline of future recruits
To be successful in this role, you will be CIPD qualified with extensive recruitment experience, gained either within a corporate business with responsibility for high volume recruitment or alternatively, a recruitment consultancy in engineering/supply chain/technical sectors. You will be hands-on, delivery oriented, highly motivated HR professional who is professional in appearance, communications and in all your dealings with colleagues, directors and new recruits. The emphasis of the role is to find the best talent to drive future business growth and, at the same time, provide a first class candidate experience throughout the process. Excellent broad ranging role, with international aspects.
Salary £50,000-£55,000 per year plus benefits
