Our client is a successful private company with a strong track record of success in their markets. They are now looking to find a capable and experienced Procurement/Purchasing Manager who will add substantial value to the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have a varied brief including key tasks such as:
Day to day overall “Operational Procurement” responsibility alongside Sales & Operations functions
Review of current Internal Purchasing processes
Recommendation and implementation of new methodologies/processes including electronic purchasing systems
Developing a preferred supplier list
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in purchasing/procurement gained in a manufacturing/process industry over a number of years and also ideally possess/be studying for the CIPS qualification. Also, you will ideally have been involved in the purchase of packaging materials including cardboard and film. Now looking for your next challenge, this role will not disappoint.
