The Directors are looking for a buy-in candidate to join the management team to drive future growth, both on a national basis and also into overseas export markets.
This niche business has huge potential for growth and you will be one of the key drivers in its strategic development and in delivering the plan.
Backing from VCs is available for the right candidate. As such, previous experience of working with external funders will be useful however it is not essential.
Ideally, we are looking for a proven general management professional, with a pedigree as a strong Managing or Operations Director, having grown a manufacturing business from a turnover of £2m to over £10m within a 3-5 year timeframe. You will be a natural leader with a people oriented approach, hands on, an excellent communicator and a driven individual with a real desire to play a key part in an ambitious, fast paced, growth oriented business.
You will need to be able to invest personal funds in the tune of one year’s salary to be of interest to the backing VCs. Please do not respond to this role if you are not willing or able to invest at this time.
